Other sailing apparel brands have tried to lay claim to the “Lightest Performance Sailing Jacket” crown, but ever since we introduced it in 2007, the Microburst jacket has been the titleholder, hands down.  The jacket weighs less than 12 oz. (.75 lbs., or 340 g for metric system fans), and with it’s 2.5-layer VMG® waterproof/breathable laminate, it will keep you dry and comfortable in pretty nasty conditions.  Hard to believe, we know – we were skeptical at first, too, but the jacket’s made believers out of us as well as a legion of Microburst fans around the country.
