CEO & CO-Founder
Tim oversees all operations at B&G, leading a team of customer service, technology, marine and marketing professionals and ensuring consistent delivery of our white-glove yacht services and experiences throughout the eastern seaboard. Prior to B&G, Tim served as Implementation Manager for Newmarket International, directing a team implementing software at over 1200 properties. Tim was also a manager for eFunds Corporation.
Prior to eFunds, Tim worked as a consultant with Bell South. Tim received a MBA from the Whittemore School at the University of New Hampshire as well as a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from St. Lawrence University. Tim grew up in Greenwich, CT and attended the Taft School. Tim’s passion for boating began at an early age and continues to be a source of inspiration.
CMO & Co-Founder
Doug is responsible for the product development and corporate communication for The Club: creating boating experiences that can be effectively implemented and communicated to the market. Doug's lifetime of boating, successful career in Marketing and having been raised by a family working in the marine industry makes him a vital asset to The Club.
Prior to Barton & Gray, Doug served as the Creative Director for several interactive marketing, design and advertising agencies. Doug has designed and produced some award winning work for MTV, The Sundance Festival, Lollapalooza and The Discovery Channel, HP, John Deere, Pfizer, PBS, and others in the corporate sector and a long list of Marine, Real Estate, Architectural and Media companies in the small/medium space as well.
Alexander "Sandy" Spaulding
Sandy joined Barton & Gray as Chairman shortly after its founding by Tim and Doug in 2006. Sandy serves as the Managing General Partner of Sea Glass Capital, a financial advisory firm he founded in 2004. Sandy spent 8 years with The Hinckley Company, as President and an owner, Sandy was instrumental in growing from a single location in Southwest Harbor, Maine to a company with over 700 employees with facilities in over 6 states and Europe. Sandy brings his passion and believes that the future of a significant part of the water experience will be provided through non-traditional ownership platforms.
Senior Vice President, Sales
Leading the sales team & efforts at Barton & Gray, Jon calls on his experience as a Reebok Sales Representative and Professional Hockey Player, trading in his skates for boat shoes. Jon studied and skated at Boston University and spends his free time on the waters for Marblehead. Jon is located in Boston & Naples, but you can find him in all our harbors.
VP, Business Development
Prior to arriving at Barton & Gray, Wil spent 6 years serving as Business and Operations Manager for the Boston Sailing Center. Wil grew up boating on the coast of Maine and continues to spend his free time out on the water.
Director of Member Services
Wendy is the Club ambassador - communicating with and caring for all of the members. The yacht schedules, outing details and membership details are managed by Wendy. Wendy works out of the corporate office and spends her free time on the shore.
Fleet Maintenance Manager
Steve brings a wealth of experience in marine engineering, operation and care. As a veteran of the British Royal Navy and many years working in the yachting industry provides B&G with leadership in fleet maintenance.
Janet oversees the complex financial systems of B&G's collaborative / subscription business model. Managing the furious pace of billing, invoicing and bill paying.
Lyman S. A. Perry
Lyman Perry, owner and President of Lyman Perry Studios of Nantucket and Philadelphia is The Club's Commodore. Lyman's lifetime relationship with the sea, from the Naval Academy to the Bermuda Race, and his business acumen provides The Club with wisdom and authenticity.
