Beaver Island
When the weather allows, ask your captain to cruise out to Beaver Island Northwest of Harbor Springs. The largest island in Lake Michigan, Beaver was once a religious monarchy but has evolved into a beautiful outpost filled with fun eateries and local artisan shopping.
Charlevoix
Cruise the shoreline to Charlevoix for lunch or dinner, and check out everything this lake-in-a-lake town can offer. Lined with bespoke restaurants and home to the Charlevoix Venetian Festival every summer, you can burn a day just walking around.
Menonaqua Beach
Part of Petoskey State Park, Menonaqua Beach feels like it was designed for a shoal-draft Hinckley. Only a short run from the downtown bustle of Harbor Springs, let your captain anchor off the beach for some exploring, swimming, SUP'ing, or whatever the day may call for.
The Ugotta Regatta
Capping off the Chicago to Mackinac Race every year is the Ugotta Regatta hosted by the Little Traverse Yacht Club. Cruise out on a Hinckley and watch some of the country’s premiere race boats get in their last fix of competition with this 55 year old event.
Picturesque waterfront community, charming downtown area, scenic harbor, and beautiful beaches for a peaceful and idyllic lakeside retreat.
